Projects completed - Les Vignerons de Correns

Since its creation in 1935, the cooperative cellar of Correns has gone through several steps to achieve its current success. All the ingredients for such accomplishment were here: the soil, the organic farming, and the men. The soil, mostly calcareous, particularly flavours the great white wines coming from Vermentino vines. Moreover, this soil has a strong impact on rosé wines mainly produced out of Grenache vines, as well as red wines with a powerful structure. No colour has been ignored, and this qualitative approach has helped to establish the reputation of the estate over the years. The organic farming set up for all the members of the cellar in 1998, has also been a unifying element. The men, strong-willed and disciplined, gave themselves all the means to succeed through many cautious investments: the sale cellars were reorganized, a beautiful store in Le Val, a new one in Aups, but also the fitting out of the cellar and acquisition of equipment for high-end wine making.
Some beautiful bottles were created to complement the range Côtes de Provence : L’Or des Fées white wine in 2007, and l’Ame des Fées red wine in 2011, and the latest wine Vallon de Sourn rosé wines in 2014. This range has already met a huge success and has already received some awards in several competitions.
